Angry Chelsea fan punched by West Ham fan, sending him to a wheelchair

A Chelsea fan was beaten “black and blue” in front of the London Stadium before West Ham and Chelsea drew, resulting in a viral video on social media.

Fans got into a fight before the game, leading to unpleasant scenes.
Stewards attempted to break up a fight between two groups of fans.
During a verbal altercation, one individual in particular was taunting while wearing a black jacket and appearing to be a Chelsea fan.
However, the video shows a man throwing a vicious punch in front of an enraged crowd that connected cleanly and knocked the opponent out cold.
Two other men helped him, one of whom appeared to be retrieving his ticket while he lay motionless on the ground.
After the sickening single punch to the head, two nearby security personnel placed him in the recovery position.
The man who delivered the punch was visible throughout the fight, despite multiple angles being broadcast to millions of people.
The victim’s face was visible throughout the fight, and he was later seen in a wheelchair with blood coming out of his mouth.
Reece James, a defender for Chelsea, condemned,
“The incidents and emphasized that violence is not the answer.”
James wrote;
“That he was saddened by the news of a fan being punched and knocked out before today’s game, and that violence is never the solution.
“He thanked the visiting supporters for their safety and wished them luck in Dortmund.”
