Another sacked again from Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly, since he took over of the big premier league giant club, Chelsea, as the sacked of a long serving physiotherapist of the club, Physiotherapist, Thierry Laurent was announced.
Thierry Laurent was the head of the physiotherapist staffs of the clubs and get promoted to his head physio role in 2014, while he has been with the club since 2005.
Before his sacked, he has served the Blues for seventeen years now.
No doubt, Laurent played a key part behind the scenes in Champions League and Premier League title wins.
According to Daily Mail reports that;
Laurent was sacked during the international break. He was only notified of his sack during a ‘short zoom call’ on Tuesday. And the news follows in the wake of medical director, Dr Paco Biosca also leaving Stamford Bridge after 11 years.
The Athletic added that Laurent was ‘shocked’ by the news of his sudden dismissal during the zoom call after he was told the new owners want to bring their own person in.
Meanwhile, he worked with former manager, Thomas Tuchel, Marina Granovskaia, Bruce Buck and Petr Cech, who have all left in recent months.
