The English Premier League, EPL, giants, Chelsea have made a sensational move in the transfer market, stealing the march ahead of their rivals in the race to sign RB Leipzig star forward, Christopher Nkunku with them now reported to have reached a pre-contract agreement with the player.
As per reputable Athletic UK Journalist, David Ornstein, the Blues have agreed personal terms with the French international who is now poised to move to the Stamford Bridge in the next summer transfer window.
What’s more, the Blues are set to pay a whooping €60million to RB Leipzig to complete the deal which is slightly above the star striker’s release clause as they were determined to get the deal over the line early enough to avoid competition.
In the meantime, the 24 year old is understood to have already undergone medical checkup with the West London club just few days towards the end of the last summer transfer window and hence, showing that the player is all but Stamford Bridge bound.
