Chelsea’s target and former Arsenal star forward, currently Barcelona superstar, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is reportedly nursing injuries after he suffered a robbery attack in his home this morning with reports from Spain stating that at least four masked men executed the act.
As per the reports from Mundo Deportivo, the four threatened the star striker with firearms, iron bars before beating him and later vanishing. However, the Gabonese international is understood to be now safe after police intervention with investigations already going on.
Meanwhile, Premier League giants, Chelsea are believed to be working extra hard to convince Barcelona into allowing the goal scorer to move to the Stamford Bridge in a cut-price deal amid the Xavi Hernandez’s huge asking price (€30million).
The Blues could however face a stunning last-minute hijack from Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United after the Red Devils reportedly made an enquiry on the player’s availability as they look to replace Cristiano Ronaldo who may end up leaving Old Trafford before the transfer window shuts.
