Due to an injury, Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling will miss today’s Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund.
CHELSEA Injury Update: Sterling’s absence will be felt, as he did not participate in Chelsea’s final training session at Cobham camp before Graham Potter’s squad left for Germany yesterday.
During a brief interview, Graham Potter revealed that the England international suffered a knee injury in training prior to Saturday’s match against West Ham, and that he is unlikely to play against Dortmund.
Chelsea’s injury report indicates that at least nine players will miss the first leg, including Sterling, Pulisic, Aubameyang, and others. These nine are:

Sterling (knee) (knee), Pulisic, Christian (knee), N’Golo Kante’s (hamstring), Mr. Armando Broja (ruptured ACL), Mendy, Edouard (fractured finger) (unregistered).
Meanwhile, Badiashile and Madueke both started for Chelsea against West Ham last weekend.
Chelsea also confirmed that Kalidou Koulibaly participated in Tuesday’s training after missing the previous game due to illness.
Borussia Dortmund will be without three key players, including top scorer Youssoufa Moukoko, who is expected to be out for several weeks due to an injury.
However, the return of Koulibaly and Fofana could be crucial, as Potter will need to replace Badiashile with another defender.
Having said that, Trevoh Chalobah is arguably a safer bet than these two.
