BVB vs CHE: Chelsea’s owners revealed plans if Potter fails to qualify for the Champions League

After a string of poor Premier League performances in recent months, Chelsea’s owners have thrown their full support behind Graham Potter.
Despite the fact that Chelsea has only won two of their last 13 games, the ownership will judge Potter over years rather than months.
CHELSEA owner, Todd Boehly, believes Potter has what it takes to manage the club, and considers him to be one of the best managers in the Premier League. However, the club believes that more time is required for the club’s overhaul to be successful.
When he took over as manager at Stamford Bridge from Thomas Tuchel, the 47-year-old tactician was given a five-year contract extension until 2027.
He has struggled to win nine of his 23 games as manager, and uncomfortable questions have been raised about his future in west London.
They also believe Potter has been unlucky in terms of the squad’s injuries.
When it comes to Chelsea, Mikel Arteta’s success at Arsenal is being compared, and the owners are betting on Potter’s long-term success.
Potter, it will be determined by progress in the UEFA Champions League this season, which will lead to a last-16 showdown with Borussia Dortmund, or by a push for a top-four finish in 2022/2023.
Chelsea currently sits ninth in the English Premier League, so short-term goals must be realistic.

The Blues have backed Potter hard in the transfer market, spending £300 million in January and causing the Englishman a slew of selection headaches.
Despite the fact that Todd Boehly has spent a significant amount of money, he expects positive results.
However, it is clear that the Chelsea board fully supports Graham Potter on the field.
