Chelsea transfer news, latest Chelsea transfer news update, transfer rumors Eden Hazard willing to returned back too Chelsea after failing to live up to expectations in Spain leaving the Blues in 2019.
Hazard may be forced to leave Real Madrid in the summer, according to Carlo Ancelotti, who explained why the former Chelsea player’s future in Spain is uncertain.
Hazard’s contract at Real Madrid expires in 18 months, and there is no sign of a new one being signed. The 32-year-future old’s with the European champions is becoming increasingly uncertain as he struggles for playing time.
He walked away from Stamford Bridge. Hazard left Chelsea almost four years ago for his “dream” move to Spain, but the £89 million move hasn’t gone as planned, with a slew of injuries limiting his playing time.
Hazard has been linked with a January exit after falling behind Vinicius Junior and Federico Valverde in Ancelotti’s pecking order this season.
In retrospect, Eden Hazard’s words before leaving Chelsea for Real Madrid proved prophetic
In an interview with RTBF, Hazard stated:
“I’d like to stay. It’s something I’ve always said. I’m hoping to play to demonstrate that I can still do it. It’s natural for people to have reservations. I’m pretty sure I get it. But I’ll still be here next year.
“You never know, but a move is not in the cards. What could persuade me to reconsider? I’m not sure. I can’t stop thinking about playing. That’s why I don’t even consider leaving. ‘I can contribute something,’ I think deep down.
“That’s all I have to say. People will trust me again if I contribute a little. They may tell themselves that leaving me out was a mistake. I only require a few minutes in my legs.”
But what are the chances that Chelsea owner Todd Boehly will consider a transfer for Eden Hazard?
