Arsenal will travel to Stamford Bridge on Sunday, November 6th as they take on Chelsea and look to maintain their current status as EPL leaders, ahead of the game here is a breakdown of the current form of both teams and how they have done in previous meetings.
The gunners are nearly flawless in the Premier League, they have only lost one game, they also dropped points when they played out a 1-1 draw away at Southampton, their last six games have seen them win six and draw one.
In the Europa League they lost 2-0 to PSV although that can be attributed to the heavy rotation done to the team that took part in that game.
The blues haven’t been in top form in their recent games, their last six league games have seen them win three, drawn two and lost one, they are without a win in their last three EPL games, draws against Brentford and Manchester United was followed by a humbling defeat at Brighton.
The last five meetings between both teams have seen Arsenal win three with Chelsea coming out on top twice, at the Stamford Bridge Arsenal have two wins and a draw in their last 11 meetings.
Chelsea will certainly be without Ngolo Kante who will miss the World Cup, Wesley Foffana, Reece James and Koulibaly will also miss the game through injury.
Arsenal have their own fair share of injuries with Emile Smith Rowe, Zinchecko, Matt Turner and Bukayo Saka out injured, Bukayo Saka’s injury is reportedly not a serious one and could well feature in the game.
Michael Oliver will be in charge of the London derby.
Predicted Chelsea team to Face Arsenal:
Edouard Mendy, Silva, Chalobah, Azpilicueta, Cucurella, Reuben Loftus Cheek, Kovacic, Mount, Gallagher, Sterling, Aubameyang.
Predicted Arsenal team to Face Chelsea:
