Chelsea: “He’s got nothing to prove to me yet”- Potter blows hot

Graham Potter, Chelsea manager, once again hit hard on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, insisted he has nothing to proved to him yet that is good at the pitch.

No doubt, Chelsea striker, start his first game under Graham Potter at Stamford Bridge in the Champions League.

But, Aubameyang yet to proved himself, rather he has failed to make the desired impact since his deadline day signing from Barcelona but remains “focused”, says his new manager.

Potter in his statement, he described Aubameyang, who is 33-year-old as a “top professional”, while expressing the respect he has for the striker’s club career.

I’ve enjoyed working with him in the brief time we’ve been together,” Potter told reporters.

“He’s focussed, he wants to do well, he wants to score goals.

“He’s got nothing to prove to me. His career is his career, I’ve got huge respect for that. He’s acted as a top professional and a top person.”
