Breakthrough window
With a squad overhaul comes the need for some big transfers, which Graham Potter appears to be getting. With Christopher Nkunku’s confirmation just around the corner, there will be plenty of other deals to close next month.
Andrey Santos is on the verge of joining from Brazil for around £12 million, while Enzo Fernandez has a £106 million release clause.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are reportedly willing to pay a high price for the 21-year-old.
David Datro Fofana has already been announced as joining in January, but a Reece James back-up is likely to be considered.

The champions have been considering a trio of Chelsea targets in Fernandez, Rafael Leao, and Josko Gvardiol, but their chances of being signed during the winter window are now slim.
