Chelsea players reconvene today at Cobham Training Camp

Chelsea players who are not on international duty in the ongoing World Cup and who are not injured will reconvene at Cobham tomorrow, Tuesday, for the start of mid-season pre-season.
The Blues will begin season preparations in about four weeks.
According to the report, the available senior players will be joined by a few youths, with Chelsea set to depart for their warm-weather training camp in Abu Dhabi at the end of the week.
The Evening Standard reported that Chelsea are looking to add a behind-closed-doors friendly to the schedule, in addition to the scheduled friendly against Aston Villa on December 11.
With the World Cup group stage wrapping up this week, affected players will most likely rejoin the team after a brief break.
After the World Cup, Chelsea will play AFC Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, December 27.

According to the report, Reece James and Wesley Fofana are “stepping up” their rehab and “hope to be fit” for that game.
