Chelsea are close to agreeing a £13 million deal with Vasco de Gama to sign midfielder Andrey Santos.
Chelsea, according to Le10 Sport, have moved quickly to finalize a deal to sign Santos in the January transfer window, assuming the 18-year-old does not have a last-minute change of heart.
According to the report, Paris Saint-Germain has been keeping an eye on Santos’ performances for several months, while Barcelona and Newcastle United have also been keeping tabs on the 18-year-old.
According to reports, Chelsea’s proposal ‘was considered more consistent with Santos’ expectations’ than PSG’s proposal.

Santos broke into the first team with Vasco de Gama earlier this year.
