Edouard Mendy is leaving Chelsea. Chelsea is rumored to have already offered Mendy to London rivals Tottenham, with Potter eager to recruit a replacement to start in place of Kepa during the January transfer window. The Senegalese goalkeeper, who originally cost Chelsea £22 million, has recently been linked to a shocking move to Juventus.
Mendy’s contract expires in 2025, giving him a current market value of €40 million (£34 million). Chelsea may be willing to accept a price that is more in line with what they paid for him three years ago in order to offload the 30-year-old and free up some transfer and wage budget.
