Chelsea Football Club is working hard to sign one of Nigeria’s best strikers as the club prepares to have the best squad for manager Graham Potter.
No doubt, as sports analyst Simon Phillips stated, Chelsea are interested in Osimhen, who currently plays for Napoli.
The Premier League club has been monitoring Osimhen for some time and hopes to bring him to Stamford Bridge this summer.
“Victor Osimhen is definitely on the radar, and when the new owners came in last season, one of the first scouting missions they set up was to regularly watch Napoli,” Phillips said.
“There were a few other players who were also being watched. But he’s definitely someone they’ve been keeping an eye on this and last season.
“He is definitely on Chelsea’s striker shortlist, and he is probably near the top.”
Napoli had a great time with their brilliant player, Osimhen, who has been in excellent form for the club this season.
This season, the 24-year-old has done well for Napoli, leading the team with 17 goals after 18 appearances.
