Frank Lampard, manager of Everton, has stated that he is still confident in his abilities and is not considering resigning from the Premier League.
On Tuesday night, the Toffees were defeated 4-1 in front of their home fans by Brighton.
To put more pressure on Lampard, the visitors scored three goals in six second-half minutes.
The fans booed the former Chelsea manager and the players off the field after the final whistle.
Everton has only won one of their last ten league games.
If results go against them later this week, they will be relegated.
Lampard, on the other hand, remains optimistic about his future at the club.
I’ve been fighting for relegation since I arrived. I can’t stop the conversation, but I’m not paying attention to it.
“I’m very confident in myself, but I can’t predict the future. “All we can think about now is Manchester United in the FA Cup,” Lampard told Sky Sports.
