Dynamo Moscow youngster Arsen Zakharyan has revealed that he accepted an offer from Chelsea as the summer transfer deadline closed in, but the clubs failed to get it over the line. Speaking to Russian outlet Sports, he said: “There was an offer from Chelsea, but it was impossible to complete a transfer. Of course, I accepted – how can I reject that?
“I hope everything will be done soon… maybe in January.” It remains to be seen if the Blues will be back in for the 19-year-old in the new year when the window opens once again.
