Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has seem not regreting the decision he made to offload Gabriel Jesus to Premier League opponent this summer despite the fact that the Brazilian has had flying start at Arsenal this season.

Pep Guardiola was involved in one of the most unique transfers in the premier league this summer by allowing Raheem Sterling to join Chelsea while Gabriel Jesus and Zinchenko were also unveiled as Arsenal’s new arrivals.

Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus unlike Raheem Sterling who is still struggling to announce his arrival at the West London club have had a smooth start to life at Arsenal playing as regular starters under Mikel Arteta in the last three matches.

And after scoring twice in the last three matches that puts Arsenal top of the table, pundits have held the opinion that Pep Guardiola could have made a mistake by getting rid of the Brazilian this summer.

However, coming to his own defense in a post-Newcastle United conference, Pep Guardiola said that he did not want his stars at the club this season because they were not happy to stay as the club. The Spaniard supported his claim by saying that it is impossible to get the best out of a player who wants to leave a club.

If you force one person to stay when he doesn’t want to stay how can you get the best from him? It’s impossible.

The defending champion reiterated that he is very happy and feeling comfortable with his current team and do not want any outgoings right now.

Transfer: Aguero warn Guardiola not to sell Man City star, “He is a good play”

I wouldn’t want to move anyone on now. I love this squad I have. I feel comfortable training with them because after six, seven years we know each other incredibly well. In the bad moments I know how they react; they are incredible professionals.
