Chelsea are starting to build a new project following the decision by the club owner to sack their manager Thomas Tuchel and replaced him with the Brighton Hove manager Graham Potter.
Graham Potter took over immediately after he was announced as the new manager of the club. He has since took charge of Chelsea as their manager in their champions League match against RB Salzburg which ended in a draw.
In the summer Chelsea were linked to a number of player as the new club manager wanted to back the manager with every player he wanted. One of the player who was linked with a move to Chelsea is Brighton Hove midfielder Moises Caicedo. The Ecuador international was also linked with a move to other teams link Liverpool and Manchester United.
However, he decided to stay at Brighton Hove as he was convinced to the style of play Potter had initiated at the club. The midfielder is a big fan of their former coach and hence was not ready to leave Brighton.
Graham Potter could now copy United manager by moving with some of his former players to the Stamford Bridge in the next transfer window. When Ten hag left Ajax for Manchester United, he advice the United board to sign for him some of his former player like Lisandro Martinez and Antony Santos.
Graham could also be about to do the same thing to his former club as one of his former player has indicated his dream of reuniting with his former manager at the bridge. Caicedo indicated that he would not turn down a move to Chelsea if they come calling for him.

Caicedo could become a natural replacement for Ngolo Kante. The French midfielder has been struggling with fitness issues this days hence Chelsea need to find his replacement.
