The transfer links to La Liga giants FC Barcelona, Spanish international and Blues captain, Cezar Azpilcuetta has now decided to commit his future to the West London club with him putting pen to paper a new two-year contract.

According to the Athletic UK Journalist, David Ornstein, Azpilcuetta will now ply his trade at the Stamford Bridge until at least 2024 after holding constructive talks with the club’s new owner, Todd Boerhly who have all along wanted him to stay.

The 32 year old is now expected to continue with his captaincy under Thomas Tuchel and he will be without a doubt hoping to bag more trophy honours with the Blues in the next two years.
