Chelsea’s target defender, Jules Kounde is expected to sign his transfer documents from Sevilla to Stamford Bridge “later today” according to the Times; articles.

No doubt, Kounde’s transfer deal has been a a dramatic one as Chelsea have been in a transfer battling with Barcelona to get the  world class defender signed, but, Chelsea finally agreed to pay £55 million for the agreed price-cost to Sevilla.

Kounde has remained patient, and will now get his reward. Martin Hardy writes that a £55m deal could go through as soon as this afternoon, after Barcelona gave up hope of matching the Blues’ offers.

Meanwhile, the transfer move of Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger was a huge lost to start with this summer, but the good news is that, the arrival Kounde and Kalidou Koulibaly will restore us to at least where we were with the other two in place.

Kounde left out from Sevilla training camp, reason why

With this as it was claimed according to source, that the transfer moves of Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger trigger  Cesar Azpilicueta’s departure,  making it seem very likely that Kounde will also back up Reece James at right wing back.
