Chelsea signed Atletico Madrid loanee Joao Felix until the end of the season, but his debut did not go as planned when he was sent off after an hour against Fulham.
Before his return to the Premier League next month, Joao Felix has sent a message of optimism to Chelsea fans. The Portuguese forward was sent off on his debut against Fulham and is expected to be available for selection against West Ham on February 11.
Felix makes a vow before being given his marching orders and will be a welcome addition to Graham Potter’s squad when he becomes available next month. The 23-year-old joined Chelsea from Atletico Madrid after his relationship with manager Diego Simeone soured.

His arrival will aim to improve Chelsea’s goal-scoring form, and fans are looking forward to seeing him team up with Mykhailo Mudryk in the second half of the season. Felix was unable to play in the wins over Crystal Palace and Liverpool because he is serving a three-match ban that will see him miss the return Premier League match against Fulham next week.
Throughout his suspension, the Portugal international has continued to train with the squad and is looking forward to returning to action against the Hammers in two weeks. Felix has thanked fans for their support as he prepares to return to Graham Potter’s matchday squad next month.
Before joining Chelsea, the 23-year-old scored five goals in 21 appearances for Atletico Madrid. Potter will be hoping that the Portuguese forward will help his team climb back up the Premier League table, beginning with a London derby against West Ham.
