Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel on lookout for alternative targets following reports that his top transfer target Jules Kounde will join Barcelona having been heavily linked with a potential switch to Stamford Bridge over the past weeks.
The need to sign another centreback is Tuchel’s main priority in an attempt to find a pair for Senegalese centreback Kolidou Koulibaly having viewed Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr as backups.
Chelsea haven’t been too lucky in the ongoing summer transfer window as Barcelona are ruining every Tuchel’s plan to sign a world class player from the Raphinha’s incident and now Kounde.
However according to Express Sport, PSG have offered their defender Thelo Kehrer to Chelsea as a potential alternative to Jules Kounde who’s allegedly keen on landing at Camp Nou.
Kehrer is claimed to be open to move to premier league having been put on sale alongside other out of favour individuals like Gueye, Diallo and Kurwaza.
Apparently, this is a perfect opportunity for Chelsea to sign the 25 year old versatile defender who’s capable of playing as a centreback as well as full buck.
Meanwhile besides Kehrer, Josko Gvardiol and Villarreal’s ace Pau Torres as well on Tuchel’s transfer wishlist.
