Havertz : A third-minute strike by Kai Havertz was ruled against Liverpool, denying Chelsea the lead at Anfield.
Havertz goal strike in the third minute, the German forward thought he had broken the deadlock after tapping home from close range.
When Thiago Silva shot at goal, Havertz was judged to be offside.
The west London outfit made a strong start, winning a corner that was whipped in by Conor Gallagher.
Benoit Badishile, a French defender, was the first to reach the ball and divert it into the path of his center-back partner Thiago Silva.
The veteran Brazilian turned to shoot from a few yards out, but his effort was blocked by the post.

“A really open game here,” Stuart Pearce said on talkSPORT commentary after a frantic start to the match.
