The fact that he seems to be shining in a deeper role – see the first 20 minutes or so in Chelsea’s loss to Dinamo Zagreb recently, for example – suggests a position change could be on the way. It’s definitely worth a go, with the likes of Havertz and Mason Mount behind Aubameyang.
Fofana return
Wesley Fofana, who was signed for a whopping £70million (plus add-ons later down the line), was not involved in Potter’s only game in charge so far. The Frenchman now has to come back into the team on the right-hand side of the defensive three.

Cesar Azpilicueta has been in poor form recently and the Spaniard needs to spend some time out of the side. The 33-year-old defender has been a fantastic servant to Chelsea down the years but the recent past has shown signs of his ability deteriorating.
We could see the back-three of Fofana, Thiago Silva (in the middle) and Kalidou Koulibaly (on the left), which, on paper, looks to be Chelsea’s best defensive trio.
N’golo returned to training
On Tuesday, N’Golo Kante is fully back and joined in yesterday training. This is a major boost for Chelsea as they get set to face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Maybe, N’golo Kante will play on Saturday despite recovery from his recent injury problems, Chelsea head coach may let it know with his midfielder formation before the match.
Kante is back to competitive action. Graham Potter should see this as a great important to get the midfielder alongside with Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho.
