Following the arrival of Enzo Fernandez from Benfica, Paul Ince, a former Manchester United forward, has told Mason Mount to leave Stamford Bridge.
Mason Mount: During the recently concluded January transfer window, Chelsea completed a British record 115 million pound signing of Argentina World Cup midfielder.
Mount, an England international, has appeared in nearly 200 games for the Blues since breaking into the first team in 2019, assisting them in winning the Champions League two years ago.
The 24-year-old has been a consistent presence in the Blues’ squad for the past four seasons, but he is currently struggling, having scored three goals in 27 appearances across all competitions.
Ince now believes Mount has become’stale’ at his boyhood club Chelsea and believes he should leave the club.
Ince expects a’rejig’ at Chelsea as a result of the new faces, and believes Mount should consider settling elsewhere and seeking a ‘new challenge.’

“It’s a funny one because Mason Mount was bang in form two years ago, everyone was raving about him, and he was a sure thing to start for England,” Ince told BoyleSports.
“Since the change of manager, he’s lost his way and Chelsea are trying to sign anyone they can at the moment so there’s going to be a rejig at Stamford Bridge.
“It’s sometimes good to have a new challenge because you can go in a different direction.”It’s sometimes good to have a new challenge because if you stay at one club for too long, you can become stale. Mount has reached the age where he must play every week. He’s an extremely gifted player.”
