Not too good for the Blues fans as Lampard pushing for 2 Chelsea players to join Everton2 min read
Frank Lampard, Everton Coach, has once again pushing for two Chelsea players Billy Gilmour and Michy Batshuayi to join the Everton in the summer transfer window, according to journalist Simon Phillips in GiveMeSport.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Everton manager Lampard personally wants midfielder Gilmour and striker Batshuayi at the club.
Phillips told GiveMeSport:
“Billy Gilmour is definitely one that I can see going, Lampard really likes him.
“Lampard had a really close relationship with him and Batshuayi when he was at Chelsea, so that’s why he’s pushing for both of those two the most at the moment.”
Gilmour is a very good and dynamic midfielder who has done well in flashes in the Premier League for Chelsea and Norwich City (on loan).
Yes, the Scotland international needs to be more consistent, but we should not forget that he is only 21.
As for Batshuayi, the Belgian striker has not really been a success in the Premier League, and we do not think that he would make a massive impact at Everton.
Batshuayi has scored 15 goals and created two big chances in 77 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
