Reece James astounded fans by naming an African winger as one of the three most difficult players he has faced in football
In response to the question, the Englishman did not hesitate to name Senegal winger Sadio Mane, Brazil’s Vinicius Jr, and Portuguese Leao as the toughest opponents he has faced.
In response to a question, the Chelsea star wrote,
“The three hardest players I’ve ever played against are all left wingers!” Vinicius Jr., [Rafael] Leao, and [Sadio] Mane!”
During his time at Anfield, the English defender came up against former Red Sadio Mane on a regular basis, and the forward proved his threat by scoring twice while the Chelsea man was on the pitch.
However, despite giving Real Madrid’s star Vinicius Jr a run for his money, James has yet to score against the Premier League side.
Leao, a Portuguese forward, played against the Blues twice in the UEFA Champions League earlier this season but failed to score.
