Chelsea were shockingly defeated 1-0 at Croatia by Dinamo Zagreb to lose their UCL Group E opening fixture. Dinamo Zagreb capitialized on Raheem Sterling misplaced pass and counter attacked in the 13th minute to score the goal through Orsic who was assisted by Petkovic to seal a 1-0 lead at half time. Tuchel made some tactical and clinical changes in the second half which saw Hakim Ziyech, Armando Broja, Jorginho, Cucurella and Pulisic come on as substitutes for Azipilicueta, Aubameyang, Kovacic, Chilwell and Sterling but Chelsea could not find an equaliser.
Chelsea fans were unimpressed by Thomas Tuchel tactical changes and clinical decisions that saw Aubameyang start alongside struggling Fofana, overrated Kepa and weak Azipilicueta.
